About the Design
For the few who mightn't know - asking if someone was a "friend of Dorothy" was a subtle way to find out their orientation, back when homosexuality was illegal. The phrase is derived from the friends of Dorothy in the 'Wizard of Oz'. Its usage as a codeword for homosexuality exploded in the 1940s and has remained popular since. This is a hand drawn design created during the PRIDE festival.
